Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is Curious Creative Coaching?
A: Curious Creative Coaching is a supportive space to pause, reflect, and create positive change. I combine my background in business, art, and NLP coaching to help people navigate life transitions, entrepreneurship, parenting challenges, and the complexities of neurodiversity.
⸻
Q: Who do you work with?
A: I work with people in midlife transitions, entrepreneurs juggling growth and overwhelm, parents of neurodivergent children, and those living with long-term conditions such as fibromyalgia. Many of my clients want clarity, confidence, and practical tools to move forward with energy and focus.
⸻
Q: Do I need to live in North Devon to work with you?
A: Not at all. If you’re local, we can meet in person for coaching in North Devon, including nature walks or cosy fireside talks. I also offer online coaching UK and internationally, so you can access support wherever you are in the world.
⸻
Q: How does coaching with you work?
A: We begin with a free discovery coaching session to get to know each other. From there, we’ll create a plan tailored to your goals. Sessions are one hour, with flexible packages of 6 or 10 sessions (including a discount on block bookings). Between sessions, I offer ongoing support by calls, texts, or emails to help you stay on track.
⸻
Q: What makes your coaching different?
A: My approach blends creativity, compassion, and lived experience. As someone with fibromyalgia and neurodivergence, and as a parent of an autistic daughter, I understand real-world challenges. I use NLP coaching techniques to help clients shift patterns, reduce overwhelm, and create structure — while keeping the process light, supportive, and practical.
⸻
Q: Is coaching the same as therapy?
A: No. Life coaching is not therapy. Therapy often looks back to heal, while coaching for life transitions focuses on the present and future. Together we’ll create strategies to build clarity, resilience, and confidence for your next chapter.
⸻
Q: How do I know if coaching is right for me?
A: If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next step, coaching can help. It’s especially powerful if you’re navigating midlife changes, running a business, or parenting through neurodiversity. A free discovery coaching session is the best way to explore if we’re the right fit.
