Nature & Retreat Coaching

coastal coaching retreat for burnout and life transitions

Nature-Based Coaching & Retreat Support

Sometimes stepping away from everyday life creates the conditions for something deeper to surface.

When the pace slows and the nervous system settles, people often begin to notice what has been sitting quietly underneath the busyness of daily life. Unspoken frustrations. Questions that have been postponed. A sense that something is shifting, even if it’s not yet clear what that is.

I offer one-to-one coaching for people attending retreats, taking time out, or seeking clarity during periods of transition. These sessions support reflection, sense-making, and steadiness at moments when something important is emerging.

Coaching can take place outdoors, walking side by side, sitting by the sea, or within the quiet of a retreat setting. Being in nature often softens thinking and creates space for insight to emerge, without force or agenda.

What this coaching supports

People often come to this work when something feels off or in motion, but they haven’t yet found the language for it.

You may be:

 - At a crossroads in work, identity, or direction

 - Navigating midlife change, burnout, or emotional overload

 - Questioning what comes next after years of giving to others

 - Carrying a low-level restlessness or dissatisfaction that won’t quite settle

 - Wanting clarity that comes from within, rather than answers imposed from outside

 - Seeking to reconnect with your own voice, values, and sense of direction

This is not therapy and not performance coaching.
It is a spacious, grounded approach that helps you listen more closely to yourself and move forward with greater clarity and trust.

How sessions work

Sessions are offered as private, one-to-one coaching conversations and may be:

    - Integrated into a retreat as an optional addition

    - Booked as a stand-alone session during a stay

     - Held outdoors or indoors, depending on preference and conditions

Each session is shaped around what you bring in the moment. There is no fixed agenda and no expectation that you arrive with a clearly defined issue. We work with what is present, using careful attention, thoughtful questioning, and space to make sense of what is emerging, especially when things are felt but not yet clear.

What makes this work different

What I bring to this work is not just training or technique, but how I show up.

My approach is warm, steady, and deeply human. I am comfortable sitting with uncertainty, noticing what’s happening in the room, and asking questions that help bring things into focus without rushing to resolution.

People often tell me they feel:

  - genuinely listened to, without being analysed

  - met with openness rather than judgement

  - able to slow down without being pushed towards solutions

  - supported in finding their own language for what they are experiencing

There is space for seriousness and lightness, reflection and humour, as it naturally arises. Not to bypass what’s difficult, but to keep the work grounded and real.

Alongside this way of working, I am professionally trained as a coach and NLP practitioner. That training is used quietly and deliberately, in service of clarity rather than technique. You don’t need to understand the tools for the work to be effective.

creative coaching retreats combining nature and self discovery

A grounded, human approach

Alongside my professional training, I bring over 30 years of lived experience as an entrepreneur, creative, and founder. I have navigated significant life transitions, including business change, separation, chronic illness, and identity shifts. This lived experience informs a calm, non-judgemental coaching presence and a deep respect for the complexity of real life.

My role is not to advise or fix, but to walk alongside you while clarity, self-trust, and next steps begin to take shape, at a pace that feels sustainable.

If you are a retreat organiser, facilitator, or venue owner and would like to explore including one-to-one reflective sessions as part of your offering, you’re welcome to book a complimentary conversation.
